Expedition Packs Helping Bees

Buzzzzzzzz! Introducing the all new Expedition Pack!

Did you know that one in every three bites of food depends on bees for pollination? And some crops can ONLY be pollinated by bees! It's so crazy how much we really depend on these little friends. But unfortunately bee populations have been declining.

While I was designing the Expedition Pack, I knew I wanted to use it to raise awareness and I thought what better than bees? I already have all rope leashes benefiting US National Forests, and bees are another crucial piece of the environment puzzle. Maybe the fact that I've also been doing a lot of research about backyard beekeeping played a role too. LOL

Beekeeping is actually something I've been really interested in for a while now, but I haven't had the proper time to put into getting a healthy hive started. Hopefully one day soon, I'll finally take the plunge so I can get totally up close and personal with those busy little bees. But for now, I'll be using profits from these Expedition Packs to donate to those who are already making a difference.

A portion of profit from every Expedition Pack purchased will be donated to the Honeybee Conservancy. This charity organization raises money to build and donate hives to community gardens and urban areas. The hives house bees that contribute to a healthy bee population AND they help pollinate plants that provide food for under-served communities.

Curious about what else is special about the Expedition Pack?

Every Expedition Pack has all the same functions are our original Adventure Packs, but a little heavier duty. The canvas shell is heavier weight for durability. The zipper is upgraded to a metal, antique brass zipper that matches the solid brass hardware.

And arguably the most important feature is the ability to hold treats!
